COVID-19 Update

Accessing Your Local RxHealthMed Pharmacy

Your local RxHealthMed pharmacy plays an important role in the management of your health, and our RxHealthMed pharmacists and staff will continue to support their local communities by providing necessary services during these unprecedented times.

We do ask that you not visit your local pharmacy if:

·       You have a fever and/or new onset of cough or difficulty breathing

·       You have been outside the country

·       You have been in close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19

·       You have been in close contact with a person with acute respiratory illness who has been to a COVID-19 impacted area

If you are going to visit your local pharmacy, we ask that you consider:

·       Using our RxHealthMed App at participating locations to fill your prescription ahead of time

·       Call ahead to the pharmacy to arrange for someone to pick up your prescription if you are not feeling well

·       Contact your local RxHealthMed and ask if they offer prescription delivery if you are not feeling well

·       Practice good cough etiquette

·       Please maintain social distance

·       Practice good hand hygiene by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water if hands are visibly soiled

·       Ask your doctor if they can fax, e-prescribe, or phone in your prescription instead of dropping it off at the pharmacy
